This site collects one thing: the details you type into the "Join the crew" form. Nothing else about your visit is recorded.

Who runs this site

This is a demonstration website built for Papa Juan's Baja Grill & Bar in Northridge, and it is currently hosted and operated by Vamos Viral Media, the agency that built it. It is not yet the restaurant's own website. If and when the restaurant takes it over, this section changes to name them as the operator.

What is collected, and when

Only when you submit the signup form, and only these fields:

• your first name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you choose to give one;
• the fact that you ticked the consent box, and the date and time you ticked it;
• your browser's user agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address.

The hashed address exists to stop the form being flooded: the same connection is limited to five submissions an hour. It is a SHA-256 hash with a fixed salt, stored instead of the address itself, and it is not used to identify or profile anyone.

What it is used for

To send you news about specials and events at Papa Juan's Northridge. That is the only purpose. Your details are not sold, rented, traded or handed to advertisers.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

There are none. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising or social tracking pixels, and ships no application JavaScript at all. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the form itself.

Who else sees it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the database that holds the signup list.
• Resend delivers the notification email announcing a new signup, when that notification is switched on.

Both are processors acting on instructions. No one else receives the list.

How long it is kept

Until you ask for it to be removed, or until the list is closed. The anti-flood records are deleted automatically after an hour.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email you receive. You can also ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by calling (818) 626-9413 or asking at the restaurant. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended, and exercising them will never cost you anything or change how you are treated.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
